Wow,

I cannot believe it's been over a year since I last updated a blog! I'm such a slacker. Well, this is going to be quite a long blog, so if you have time to read it, I'd suggest getting comfortable.

First off, I got married April 25th, 2015! His name is Nathan and he is the light of my life. Sometimes I don't know what I did to deserve such an amazing, talented, handsome man. He really is a blessing to me. We had known each other for about 5 years before we "actually" dated. We had gone on a few dates in high school, and before his mission, but he only considered me "just a friend". Haha, I sure showed him. When he came home from his mission, we kept in contact, but it wasn't until he'd been home about 7 months that we actually started to date. We officially got engaged in February of 2015 and were married and sealed for time and all eternity in the Draper, Utah Temple. It was AMAZING!!!!!!

Marriage definitely isn't what I thought it was going to be. Some good, some not so good. Life has kind of hit Nate and me in the face pretty hard since we've been married. Somehow we've seemed to hit the jack-pot of trials over these past 8 months. We don't know how we are even alive. Oh, we get along just fine, and love each other very much, but life hasn't been so nice to us.

First off, we only had 1 car, so in order for us both to get to the places we needed to, we had to get Nate a bike. It works perfectly, but bikes these days aren't cheap at all. So we got into a little bit of debt for that. That was in April.

In May, We found out that my old phone company Verizon Wireless screwed me over 600 dollars, and after being treated so rudely by the customer service man I talked to, we went into the store and did some digging. Verizon openly admitted to me that they wronged me and that they do owe me 600 dollars ( for the phone that I paid for and also the unauthorized charge to my account that they kept even after I closed the account down with them), but, because they are such a greedy and awful (screw you over/ pay out the nose company ) they wouldn't reimburse me- EVEN AFTER ADMITTING THEY WERE WRONG, unless we went with their phone company and signed contracts with them. Of course, after that escapade, my husband and I said no and went with T- mobile anyway. We are happy with T- mobile for the most part.

In June, Nate's used to be best friend, Dalton, broke up with his 4 year girlfriend/ fiance Halee and he became super attached to Nate. Nate and I got into a few fights about him and his need to be in our business. We also had to replace a CV axle on our Car. So we were out again another couple hundred Dollars.

In July I found out that I was pregnant by having a miscarriage. I was 7 weeks along when I miscarried. So I went into the Dr and had a bunch of tests done. Dr. apt's and tests aren't cheap so we were paying for medical bills up the wazoo, which put us into more debt.

In August, my windshield broke so we had to replace it so that it would pass inspection in October. Just another thing to add to my list of debt. We also found out that Nate's GPA wasn't high enough at BYU for him to qualify for FAFSA so we needed to come up with $1500 within 2 weeks to help pay for his tuition.

In September I found out I was pregnant again, and I had yet another miscarriage. I was only 3 weeks along, but still, I had to go in for more testing. Also, the price of my birth control- which apparently wasn't working, shot up so we couldn't afford it anyway. More bills. Also, our clutch broke and it was 500 dollars to fix it.

In October, BYU denied my transfer from UVU- even after they said I could easily get in, so I had to go back to UVU and sort out my classes. Then, I got hurt at work from a patient pulling on my arm, and I've been out of work since. I have had to go see a Doctor once a week for treatment and also physical therapy twice a week. Since I've been out of work, I haven't been getting paid. Workman's comp helps a little bit, but not enough to help us with all of the things we need. We've had to ask for money from my parents to help pay for groceries.

November, we've had no money so we've been really struggling to get anything extra- deodorant, shampoo, pads ect.... We literally have had just enough for our bills and milk, and bread and cheese. We applied for food stamps but got rejected because we "make too much".

It's barely December so we'll see what will happen this month..... oh wait, I got accepted for a Pell Grant, but because I technically make too much, It doesn't even cover half of my tuition for school next semester. Which is when I'm supposed to graduate with my associates degree. So now, I have to take out a student loan to cover the rest of my tuition and books. But like I said, it's only the beginning of the month.

With all of this, we've racked up a good 2500 dollars in debt. AND THAT'S only in 7 MONTHS!!!!!

We are hoping and praying for a better year in 2016
